KASHUBIAN CRAFT · KOZŁOWIEC WORKSHOP
A piece of wood has a history you can see in its grain, knots and unexpected curves. That is where every Kozłowiec lamp begins: with a material that catches our eye and a shape worth bringing to light.
Kashubian craftsmanship begins with respect for the material and care in the making. We bring that approach to our own designs, working with the grain of solid wood, the curves of a root and the little irregularities that make each lamp its own.
No two roots are alike, and every piece of wood has its own grain. We give these materials a new life as lamps for evenings with a book, conversations around the table and a little time to yourself.
From our Kashubian workshop to your home. Shaped by nature, finished by hand.
Distinctive texture. Simple, restful lines.
No two roots alike. No two lamps the same.
A new life for glass. A warm glow for evenings to come.
KASHUBIA · OUR HOME
„Zemia Rodnô, pëszny kaszëbsczi kraju”
My homeland, my beautiful Kashubia.
Kozłowiec lies on a peninsula beside Lake Wdzydze, in the heart of Kashubia in northern Poland. Here, forest meets water, the pines smell fresh after rain and evening light settles over the lakes. This is our everyday landscape. Its slower rhythm draws our attention to simple things: the feel of wood, a familiar path, the changing light.
We head into the woods to find a little quiet. The lakes, trees and wildlife around us keep us connected to the place we call home.
This is what inspires us to create simple, natural things that feel close to home.
Kashubia has its own language and a living craft tradition. Local artists and makers express it in embroidery, ceramics, weaving and carved wood. In Wdzydze, the Teodora and Izydor Gulgowski Kashubian Ethnographic Park Museum preserves this heritage through historic workshops and everyday objects.
The natural materials and hands-on traditions of Kashubian craft are close to our hearts. In our workshop, we let the grain show and the roots keep their curves. Our hands shape the finishing touches, giving each lamp its own character.
Our lamps bring a little of Kashubia into your home: the nature and craftsmanship of Lake Wdzydze, and a warm glow for long evenings together.

We work with the grain and the details that make each piece of wood unique.

A little about our lamps
and preparations for opening the shop.
We make our lamps by hand in Kashubia, Poland, using natural materials. Solid wood shows its grain, roots bring their distinctive curves, and wine bottles find a new purpose as table lamps.
Grain, colour and shape vary naturally from one piece of wood to the next. Those differences are part of each lamp’s character. Please check the photos and description of the individual lamp before you buy.
Our online shop is on its way. In the meantime, explore the three collections and call us to ask about a particular lamp, its measurements and availability. Online payments are not yet available.
We will announce payment methods, delivery costs and lead times before sales begin.
